Coming from v1? Save your JSON backup first.

Version 2.0 uses a new signing certificate and cannot install over the old v1 app. Export a complete JSON backup outside the app and confirm it is saved before uninstalling v1. Install 2.0, then restore your JSON. CSV and images cannot restore your full data.

Before you step onto the court

01Do I need an account or an internet connection?

Scoring, review, history, and export work offline in the app. No account or cloud sync. This website and the GitHub download page need an internet connection.

02Are my game records uploaded?

The app does not upload game or player data, and includes no ads or analytics SDKs. Files you choose to export or share are handled by your chosen destination.

03How do I protect my records?

Export a complete JSON backup in Settings and save it outside the app. Automatic backups require your opt-in and a directory you authorize. Internal safety copies cannot protect against uninstalling or losing your device.

04Can I import backups from before the rename?

Hoopito accepts old HoopTrace and new Hoopito JSON. Automatic retention recognizes both file prefixes. Older apps cannot import newly branded backups; upgrade before restoring them.

05Can I install it on an iPhone?

A signed Android APK is available now. There is currently no installable official iOS release.
